Service Description
The 19th - 25th of May is Creativity and Wellbeing week and is taking place across Norfolk, in partnership between London Arts and Health Forum and the Culture, Health & Wellbeing Alliance! We are excited to engage with the festival and to offer some new courses at a lower cost than usual so that they are more accessible to all! (Please note that we offer a concession on all our usual courses if you are on low income, just email us before booking!) This 1 day workshop is an introduction to the process of reduction lino printing and is suitable for beginners or those who wish to be fully inducted to use our facilities during open access. Reduction lino cut involves carving a block in stages to build an image by layering different colours. You'll learn how to plan each stage of your design, how to mix colours and how to use registration to align your prints. You will be fully inducted to use the tools and equipment available at our studio and materials will be provided including 1XA5 lino block, paper and ink. By the end of the workshop you will have produced a limited edition of prints to take away with you! Once you have completed this course you can apply to become a member of Norwich Printmaking Hub and can book onto our open access sessions. Cancellation Policy
This course/session requires a minimum of 3 participants in order to be viable to run. If we receive fewer than 3 bookings we may cancel the course/session or reschedule to start at a later date. In this event we will notify you via email to see if you are able to reschedule or to issue you with a refund. If you wish to cancel your booking please contact us at norwichprintmakers@gmail.com ASAP. We regret that refunds cannot be given for cancellations received less than 7 days before the start date of the course/booking. We cannot issue refunds if a participant does not turn up on the day. If we need to cancel a course for whatever reason we will notify all participants ASAP and issue refunds via your original payment method. All bookings include a 5% online booking fee which is non-refundable, this covers transaction costs which we have to pay out as a non profit company. All participants must be over 18. Please do not book if you or the person you are booking for is under 18 years of age. By booking, you agree for us to share your email address with the course tutor so they can contact you with information as needed before the course. Your details will not be passed on by us to any 3rd parties. By booking you confirm you have read and agreed to these terms.
