Open Access (Studio Members only)

Service Description

These weekly sessions are available to members of the studio only who have a confident level of previous experience in relief/intaglio printmaking techniques. A technician will be available to support you with your personal project and you will have access to materials and equipment needed for lino printing, drypoint/etching, monoprinting/monotype and letterpress - please let us know in advance what process(s) you intend to use. These sessions are not taught, therefore you will need previous experience in the process you intend to use. You will not be permitted to use any tools or equipment without first having an induction by the technician. Inductions are included in your first open access session and will take approximately 30 minutes. Please be mindful when booking open access time - we currently only have 4 spaces available for each session. Sessions take place on Wednesday afternoons from 1.30 - 4.30pm and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm. (Please also allow 30 mins cleaning up time at the end of your session!) Please read our cancellation policy (below) before booking.

Cancellation Policy

This course/session requires a minimum of 3 participants in order to be viable to run. If we receive fewer than 3 bookings we may cancel the course/session or reschedule to start at a later date. In this event we will notify you via email to see if you are able to reschedule or to issue you with a refund. If you wish to cancel your booking please contact us at norwichprintmakers@gmail.com ASAP. We regret that refunds cannot be given for cancellations received less than 7 days before the start date of the course/booking. We cannot issue refunds if a participant does not turn up on the day. If we need to cancel a course for whatever reason we will notify all participants ASAP and issue refunds via your original payment method. NB This will be minus the 2.5% transaction costs. All bookings include a 2.5% online booking fee which is non-refundable, this covers transaction costs which we have to pay out as a non profit company. All participants must be over 18. Please do not book if you or the person you are booking for is under 18 years of age. By booking, you agree for us to share your email address with the course tutor so they can contact you with information as needed before the course. Your details will not be passed on by us to any 3rd parties. By booking you confirm you have read and agreed to these terms.
